Brenda Harley
Executive Assistant, Boston
Brenda Harley joined the Eos Foundation as the Executive Assistant in the Boston office in July 2009. She provides assistance and support to the Eos staff and handles a wide array of administrative duties for the foundation, as well as supporting the growth of Boston Rising, a new fund to fight poverty being incubated by the Eos Foundation. Brenda comes to the Eos Foundation with over twenty years of experience working for CEOs at several public and private institutions.
Brenda is dedicated to volunteerism and serving her community, and is a former board member of the Harriet Baldwin Early Learning Center in Brighton, Mass. and the Hattie B. Cooper Community Center in Roxbury, Mass. She has worked on the Grant Review Committee at Wellington Management Company at Wellington Management Company, LLP and also served as co-chair.
She is an advocate for children, teens, and the elderly, and has served in various leadership positions for non-profit public service organizations. Brenda is a life member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, an international public service organization of over 900 chapters and 200,000 women. She has held several leadership positions with the Deltas, most recently serving at State Coordinator for the Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire chapters.
Brenda works with teenage at-risk girls and young college women at Northeastern University, Simmons College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and other colleges throughout Massachusetts. She is a 1985 graduate of Alabama A&M University and holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Management.
