Children's HealthWatch investigator turns cameras on American hunger

An article from the Washington Post focuses on a very powerful project, Witnesses to Hunger, undertaken by Children's HealthWatch principal investigator Mariana Chilton. The story ran in hundreds of the nation's newspapers, including the Washington Post, The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, the LA times, Miami Herald, the International Herald Tribune, the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Boston Globe.
Mariana Chilton is currently working with Senator Casey of Pennsylvania to bring the Witnesses project to the nation's capital. This very interesting piece of qualitative research is an excellent complement to the work of Children's HealthWatch and puts names and faces to the numbers they report.
