Boston Rising Seeks CEO
Boston Rising, a new fund focused on fighting poverty in Boston, seeks an entrepreneurial and passionate leader to serve as its first Chief Executive Officer. Inspired by the Robin Hood Foundation, the Harlem Children’s Zone, and other innovative strategies, Boston Rising is a start-up nonprofit that will launch with a $15 million commitment from the Eos Foundation and a recently-announced initial focus on Roxbury’s Grove Hall neighborhood.
Boston Rising will engage a new generation of philanthropists and employ rigorous metrics and business best practices. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to and experience in fighting urban poverty, high-caliber political and communication skills, and business and management experience. The end goal? Transforming the fight on poverty across the city of Boston and serving as a national model.
